What happens when a hard drive, is damaged or goes bad? First, we run diagnostics, then use our Hard Drive External Hookup to see if anything can be salvaged. If data can be salvaged, it is copied off. If nothing can be salvaged, then we can replace the hard drive and remake the computer, which makes sense if the cost is less than ½ the cost of another system. It could also be a trade-in or recycle.
