Did you get a computer from late 2009 through 2012 that uses Windows 7? As of January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer be making security updates automatically, and many third-party vendors will have dropped support as well.
Because of the seriousness of this development, many have already made migration plans. Microsoft will start warning people about this development with a warning message that your operating system is no longer supported. What can you do?

- Pay for Extended Support
- Upgrade to Windows 10
- Trade-in your current computer
